I am researching a JAMES SMITH from NEWARK, OHIO. I found him on the 1900 census with his wife; MARTHA ( I believe it is COX), and children: BERLIN (20), LUCY (18), WILLIAM (17), BESSIE (13). I know it's like needle in a haystack, but help would be appreciated. Christine.
