There is a book "The Staudt-Stoudt-Stout Family of Ohio", Collected and Printed by Herald F. Stout. I do not have the book but I have seen it and it helps in getting to the different lines. My line of STOUT families, came from PalatineGermany,NY, PA,Virginia, now West Virginia, now Lewis Co. on the Hacker's Creek. There is a great place on the web that might help called HCPD, Hacker's Creek Pioneer Decendants. http://www.rootsweb.com/~hcpd/ This will give you a Table of contents, and a lot of places to look.
