Hi! I’ve just traced my family to Licking County, Ohio and am interested in corresponding with anyone with an interest in these related families. George Swain married Christena Bodle in Licking County September 23, 1827. In the 1830’s this family is in Madison Co. Indiana. William Pittsford from Licking Co.is also in Madison. Pittsford’s wife, Elizabeth Bodle,(married Licking Co. 3/24/1822) is a sister to Christena. There are other Bodles and Swains in Madison but am unaware of a connection. George Swain died in 1840’s and Christena remarried to John Pugh before 1850. I need to find parents or relatives of George Swain and Christena Bodle. Thanks for any help. Robert Swain ps.
