I am on a hopeless search. The widow Elizabeth Claypole/Claypool, with her daughter Emma, lived in Eden Twp. Licking County, Ohio in 1850. I believe she also had a son George and possibly more children. Elizabeth was born c1800 and Emma c1833. Emma married James Davis shortly after that, and remained and died in Eden Twp. Much of the settlement of that area was through Muskingum County, Ohio, and from checking the archives of this list I know there was at least a Samuel Claypool there. Is there any researcher who has knowledge of the widow Elizabeth? and/or a Claypool son who died possibly in his 30's or 40's? Any clue very much appreciated! I'm desperate!.
