    3. DJ, For several years I have been wondering what the connection is between your husband's Daniel FRY and my 2g-grandfather, Henry FRY. Both families lived in the Newton Township area of Licking County, Ohio. My records of Daniel and Susan are pretty much the same as yours with one exception: I think you would be safe in changing Susan's birth year to 1796. Even though her obituary says 1790, her age listed in the 1850 and 1860 census and the age and death date on her tombstone figure out to 1796. Henry FRY was born in Ohio in 1812 which was 16 years before Daniel and Susan brought their family to Ohio from Virginia. Both of Henry's parents were born in Virginia so it's possible that the fathers of Henry and Daniel were brothers. If either of us can ever determine who those fathers were, perhaps the connection can be made. Another fact that suggests that they may not have been related, even though they lived near each other, is that Daniel and some of his descendants are buried in Wilson (Vanattaburg) Cemetery while Henry and some of his family are buried in Utica North Cemetery. This might indicate that they did not belong to the same church and did not socialize together. Even so, it doesn't prove that they were not related. Let me know what you learn. Incidentally, I live in Licking Co. Donald Young
