Am interested in any information on David L. Williams who married Mary Griffith in Newark 1 Feb 1860. David was born in N. Wales 16 June 1832 and came to the US in the 1850's via NY. He was a farmer and moved to Putnam Co. in 1866. He lived and farmed there until his death 6 Feb 1908 and was buried in Gomer Cemetary. There is a Civil War Medallion on his grave and I am trying to find out in which unit he served. Also any other info while he was living there. Am interested in info on the William T. Griffith (Charlotte Jones) family of which the above mentioned Mary Griffith was a daughter. They were from S. Wales and came to the US ca 1842. All of the above lived in Newark Twp., in Licking Co.
