In a message dated 98-10-19 08:18:56 EDT, you write: << Does anyone have information on a Hosea Cooley, his place of birth & date, and place of burial in Licking County: as well as, the names of his children. >> Lyle: "Ohio Cemetery Records" has two entries for Hosea Cooley. On p. 179 it lists him as one of Granville's Dead, interred in Maple Grove Cem. as a veteran of the War of 1812. He died 14 Jan 1871. Then, on p. 197, in the listing for Maple Grove Cem. it has Hosea as Dea. (Deacon?), d. 14 Jan 1871 age 85 years, and Stitira, wife of Dea. Hosea d. 23 Jan 1863 age 74 y., 3 m., 26 d. There are no other Cooleys in this cem. but a few others from Granville including an M.D., John B. b. Granville, Mass. 10 Jan 1798, d. 2 Nov 1882, age 84 y. 9 m. He is in the "Old Burying Ground" or also known as the "Colony Burying Ground". I will be happy to check the other Cooleys, which are in neither of these cems. Just let me know. Gloria in MD
