Hi there! I am new to this list . If you are related to Prior's from a century ago in this area, so am I! I have a photo that came from my Grandfather John Clinton Prior. It is a group photo of thirty -one very handsome people. My relatives! Written on it in my Grandad's handwriting (Isn't it funny that we can still recognize the writing of our grandparents who may have been dead for a half century now!) are the words, "Prior Reunion - appears to be about 1900." The only person identified in the photo is Cyrus M Prior, my Greatgrandfather. Good lookin' guy too! I only remember him as a little old man in his 80's. Anyway, there is an embossed name below the photo that would be the name of the photography studio. It might be Treisze. But underneath it definately says Granville O. Sometimes the old photos are still around. And sometimes there were copies which may be owned by the descendants. I realize it is not likely that I will ever know who all these relatives are, but ya never know till ya try! Thanks.
