Linda: Hartford, Granville or possibly Newark are the locations I've run across on Simon and Lydia PROUTY. The last trace is a sale of land in Auglaize Co. OH, in 1869. At age 70, don't think they retired to Fort Lauderdale, but...........? Thanks, Tom
