Dave, Was your Chloe WILCOX born 17 Sep 1763 Simsbury or Norfolk, CT to Joseph and Sarah (____) WILCOX? Is she a descendant of William WILLCOXSONs 4th son, Samuel >Joseph >Joseph >Joseph >Joseph >Chloe? I have nothing further on Chloe. But I'd like to have her next few generations to add to my copy of the book, Descendants of William WILCOXSON, Father of Connecticut". I presume you have acces to this book, and have traced Chloe's ancestors back to William. If not, I'll provide that data for you. Also, I have nothing on her husband, Israel WELLS. My grandmother was a descendant of William WILCOXSON thru Joseph(I), and then through 2 of Joseph's sons, Joseph(II) & John, whose descendants married each other. Joseph's(II) descendants were Deacon Joseph(III), and Joseph(IV), who married Grace WILCOX. The descendants of John, brother of Joseph (II) were Silas and Grace, who married Joseph(IV) who produced my gg-grandfather, Josiah Carter WILCOX. My book gives lots of names and birthdates, but very little info on where the people lived. I know my WILCOXs moved from CT to Licking Co, OH, but I don't know which ones of the clan, nor when. Looks like we're umteenth cousins, umteenth removed!
