GermanAssistant is a tiny application (free download) providing an unobtrusive and flexibly configurable German characters add-on toolbar (small icon) equipped with extraordinary AutoPaste feature that sits on top of your screen. Using it is simple and easy to assist you in entering into your document the special German characters. Hence, Guenther with a click of a mouse becomes Günther, Schroeder becomes Schröder, an improperly spelled Mueller with a mouse-click becomes Müller, Schroeder becomes Schröder and Strasse becomes what it is really supposed to be Straße, UNIVERSITAET becomes UNIVERSITÄT.
