For his father, Thomas Hughes, I have the following information: Thomas Hughes b. 1727 Augusta, Hardy Co., Virginia d.1778 in Fort Lowther. Married Susanna Baker in 1748. Susanna Baker d.1784 in Harrison Co, VA. This info was given to me by my now-deceased aunt and I have not confirmed her names/dates. She was a member of DAR so I believe that is where she got her info. I have other documents if you would like to contact me.
