    1. Adam Co., PA marriages w/ Licking County & Ohio connections
    2. Below is the URL for marriages published in Adam County, Pennsylvania area papers that mentioned persons from Licking County and/or other Ohio counties. I may have missed some, so you should check for yourself, if you are interested. There were a number of Licking County pioneer names listed such as Koontz, Bell, and Moore. Stephen Ritter purchased most of his land from the Moore family in the 1830's which was located in the Village of St. Lousiville just north of Newark. I have lost track of Stephen Ritter's son Adam Ritter and his daughter, Mary E. Ritter. I believe Mary, most likely, got married and moved from the area. Anyone having any information and willing to share on this Ritter family would be greatly appreciated. http://www.rootsweb.com/~paadams/nxpmar.htm MARRIAGES The Centinel, Gettysburg, Adams Co., PA, printed by Robert Harper, East of the Court House and delivered on Wednesdays.
