John R davis b. 1808 married Rebecca Claypool on 14 Mar 1830. I have 5 children listed. William Davis b. 1832, Elizabeth Davis b. 1834, Nancy Davis b. 1838, Aaron Davis b. 30 Jul 1844 and Baltis Davis b. 1849. Aaron Davis is my ggg grandfather. I have no information on the other 4 children except for the approximate year of birth from the census pages. John's father, was listed as William Davis (76) on the 1850 Eden twp, Licking Co, Ohio Census Line 23-30. It says that William was born in Virginia abt 1774. John's family was still in Licking Co., until late 1870's when Aaron Davis married Mary A Smith on 21 Oct 1866. They had Robert L Davis 1867-1946, Olivia Davis b. 1869, Lydia Davis b. 1872, Aaron Smith Davis b. Aug 1874, James L Davis b. Nov 1875 and Mary E Davis b. Oct 1877. Aaron Smith Davis is my gg grandfather. He went by Smith Davis around the 1900's. Smith married Clara Terry and they lived in Fremont Twp, Isabella Co, Michigan from the 1900 Census. Smith and Clara had Olive Davis b. 1904, Roy F Davis b. 1905, Howard Everett Davis b. 9 Oct 1906 - Nov 1981 and Robert Lee Davis b. 25 Jun 1910 - 27 May 1995. Howard Everett Davis was my ggrandfather. He married Charlotte Leonore Greer before 1927. They had 10 children. Most of those children still live or lived in Michigan. I need help finding the children who where born in Licking Co, Ohio. Both from John R Davis and his son Aaron Davis.
