I need help in finding information on the John Nichols family. John was born 1800-1810 in Virginia. 28 December 1829,John married Mariah Tegarde in Knox County, OH. They had the following issue 1male that died between the age of 5 to 10. Rachel married William Lamont Abbott-- two sons by this marriage Frank Milton Abbott and the other died very young.( I have a photograph of the two seems to be in the middle 1860's..) Joihn and Maria had a daughter, Abigail.born ca 1837-can't find her after the 1860 licking county census. John and Maria's youngetat daughter Maria born ca 1840 may have married John Zellhart. I lose her after the 1870 census. John Nichols purchased 6 March 1840 a tract of land rom Elijah Nichols. John's estate was probated 1852 Licking County. Maria, his wife, died 1896 0r 1898. Licking County. There was a John Nichols of Virginia that was awarded a tract of land in Licking ca 1816. Can anyone give or share information on this family? Need much-a-lot-of help ! here.
