    3. Hi, Eli Butler d. 9/27/1857 in Granville and is buried in Old Colony Burying Ground in Granville. Lydia died June 18 1861 and is buried next to him. They had abt. 7 children but I'm not at home and don't remember all their names. I do know that 2 of them , Eli and Joel, died in the Civil War. Justus married and his wife died and is buried next to Eli and Lydia. I know that Justus remarried and married Eli's widow and eventually moved to Illinois.(or maybe it was Indiana) When I get home I will send you the details. I also have pictures of the stones. Eli's family has been msst elusive. He was born in NY and I have several locations and families we're looking at but nothing so far. He seems to be the brick wall. If you ever see any inofmriaotn about this, please contact me.
