Dear List Readers, Does anyone know what churches were active in and around Newark Twp. in the 1850s? I would like to find a record of the baptism of my great grandfather, Fred W. BONNER. I am hoping that he was born in Newark and that such a record might still exist. It is believed that the Bonners were Anglican (Church of England) or Episcopalian, but they might have chosen a different faith depending on the location of a convenient church. If you can't help me with a listing of churches, can you give me the address of a library or genealogical society that might be able to help me?
