All families were from either Licking Township or Union Township prior to 1850. Would like to correspond with descendants of any of these individuals. Holtsberry, Nicholas (b 1754) & Catharine (b. 1760) Daughter's marriage in 1807 recorded in Fairfield County first date in Ohio. Came from Allegeny County, Md. Was Catharine the daughter or sister of another early settler from Alleghany County, Md? She may have been daughter of Conrad Corbus of Allegany County, MD. Children: John Holtsberry m.Margaret Poling settled in Barbour County Virginia (West) Elizabeth married John Green 1807 Sally married Isaac Harter 1818 Richard b. 1793 d. 1843 married Catherine Harter 1818 buried Hebron Cemetery. Children went to Paulding County, Ohio. Anna married Benedict Farmer 1819. May have been married a second time. Susannah married John Frederick Wartsbaugh 1814 (left large family) Jacob married Betsey Entsminger 1813 Conrad married Fanny McGuire 1821 - married 2nd Delilah James married Frances Harter 1827 (James and Conrad's descendants lived in the Buckeye Lake area. Samuel married Nancy Gregory 1828. He may have gone by another first name and had a second marriage. Polly married John Woolard 1818 George Harter born 1805/1806 Rockingham County Virginia. Wife Elizabeth. Was in Licking County by 1820. Died in Burlington Township, Licking County 1835. Lived near Fairmont. Jared (Jerred) Price. b. 1793 Maryland. Married Anna Hayes or Hutchins (conflicting information). Appears in 1850 Census, Union Township, Licking County. Probably married in Maryland. Children: Nicholas married Celesta Peas Sally Ann (married Evan Williams), Thomas (married Catherine Holtsberry), Amanda (married Harvey Holtsberry - cousin of Catherine), Elizabeth (married Amos Walters), Lemuel may have died d.s.p. Thomas, Nicholas and Amanda all settled in Jackson Township, Paulding County. Anna Hayes (Hutchins). born Maryland 1796. Conflicting information. It is possible but unlikly she was previously married and one of these names is her married name. She may be the daughter of John Hayes who appears in the 1870 census in Licking Township.
