Researching Joseph Van Dorn and his wife, Hannah Sutphen, pioneer settlers 1818 in Pataskala area. In 1840 census, they have 12 children, 6 boys and 6 girls. One child, Teletha, is buried beside her mother in Pataskala Cemetery; John, Polly and Jane are listed in 1850 census of Lima Twp. Trying to identify other children. Does anyone know if the Jacob Van Dorn and Richard C. Van Dorn buried in Pataskala Cemetery were offspring of Joseph and Hannah? Any leads will be greatly appreciated.
