John Cross and Margaret Bowers were natives of PA (exact location not known), and were in Bowling Green Twp by about 1812/14, when their son Peter was born. John Cross was said to have died in Bowling Green at the age of 68 (year not given, perhaps 1840s-1850s). I believe Peter had a sister, Lydia, who resided in Hardin Co., OH, and whose married name was KISSLING. Peter Cross was in Rushsylvania Twp., Logan Co., OH by 1840, then in Hardin Co. by 1870, where he died 1894. He was buried in Logan Co. Lydia (Cross) Kissling is buried in Seig Cem., Hardin Co. Any additional information about the family of John and Margaret (Bowers) Cross would be welcome. When did John Cross die, and where is he buried? Is Margaret buried in the same cemetery? Did they have children other than Peter and Lydia?
