Nola, It may not be important to you but some people do not know where the Society can be found and also would like to purchase some of the publications they offer. I know the site is not as jam packed with information and links like some others, but this stuff costs money and most genealogy societies do not have a lot to throw around. The important thing is knowing how to get there so that you can look over their wealth of information. They operate on the donations from people utilizing their resources so I can't blame them for not giving it away. These people have been extremely helpful to me and countless other genealogists so please cut them some slack. better yet, offer your time to make their web site better.
