Seeking info on James CHAMBERS, b. abt 1790, unknown place. His daughter, S/Charlotte Chambers, m. Isaac MOORE Jr. on 9/3/1835, unknown place. I have reason to believe that these families were from Ohio (perhaps Licking Co) from some very old family letters (1826-1868) written by Isaac MOORE Sr. to Isaac Jr. and C/Sharlotte CHAMBERS MOORE. In one letter there is also a reference to Samuel CHAMBERS, perhaps a brother of S/Charlotte. Isaac MOORE Jr. and S/Charlotte CHAMBERS had several children: Sarah Jane (m. Thomas Hall BOUSMAN), George Washington, Allen, Wilbert, Samuel, James Riley (killed in Civil War) and Martha (m. Edward BLAIR).
