Does anyone have information on John and Margaret (BOWERS) CROSS? John and Margaret were probably born in the 1790's (New York?). Their children, Lydia, John, and Peter were apparently born in Licking Co (all between abt. 1812-1818). Peter later relocated to Logan Co., where he married Susannah WHITE in 1834. They moved to Hardin Co. 1860-1870, and were profiled in "Biographical Sketches" (for Hardin Co.) in the latter 1800's. In the sketch, it was said that Peter's parents, John & Margaret (Bowers) CROSS, were "pioneers of Licking Co.", and that John(Sr.) died there at the age of 68. Any help would be most appreciated.
