Hi All, If any of you have any info about my elusive CLEMONS family, I'd surely appreciate it. The 4 CLEMONS boys arrived in what became Granville, OH in early 1800 with their mother, Elizabeth Wilcox Clemons Case and her new husband, Job Case, and several Case children. They traveled with the Scioto Land Company, of which Job Case was a founder, from Granville, MA. They helped settle Granville, OH. The CLEMONS boys were actually born in or near Granby/Old Lyme CT. They were: Eleazar, Henry, Lewis and William. I am a descendant of Lewis' son, William, who married Ellen Rose. (The Rose family also made the trek from MA to OH with the Case family). The last information I have is that "Ellen Clemons was raising her family alone in nearby Alexandria Twp." Any descendants out there? Can someone tell me if Alexandria Twp is part of Licking County?
