Also, Samuel was married to a Fanny Johnston in 1823, I have no idea what happened to her but he married Catherine Hammers in 1828. I've always thought Fanny was Samuel's daughter by his first wife, but have no proof to that theory. Do you know what year Fanny was born? Because George (Samuel's father) also had a daughter I haven't identified either and she was born 1815-1820. . If Fanny was a little older, then she could have be Samuel's sister.
