Frederick Ault was a 3rd great-grandfather to my husband. I have only been able to track his son, Joseph (2nd great-grandfather to my husband). Joseph died very young just a couple weeks before birth of his first child. There were seven children in the family (that I found in census) Looking for any clues or descendants of this clan. He married Anna Maria Goss, daughter of (--?--) Goss and Unknown (--?--). He died on 31 Jan 1868 at Ohio at age 73. He was buried in Feb 1868 at Etna Burial Ground, Etna twp., Licking Co., Ohio. Frederick and Anna lived in 1830 at Smith twp., Belmont Co., Ohio, ; living next to Thomas and Wm Kinney on one side on other side four doors down is John Ault age 30-40. At Frederick's home are 2 boys under five; one male age 30-40; one girl under 5 and wife age 20-30. Frederick and Anna lived in 1840 at Etna twp., Licking Co., Ohio, ; listed with 2 males age under 5 (Joseph and Solomon); one male age 5-10 (John); one male age 30-40 (husband); one female age under 5 (?); one female age 5-10 (Anna); one female age 30-40 (wife). Frederick and Anna lived on 22 Oct 1850 at Etna twp., Licking Co., Ohio, ; real estate value $1000. They have seven children at home: Anna, John, Solomon, Joseph, Lydia, Sarah and Elizabeth. There are no other Ault's in that township. Frederick lived in 1860 at Etna twp., Licking Co., Ohio, ; next door is Ault John age 26m born in OH; and 5/7 shows Ault Catharine age 25f born in OH. Anna Maria GOSS was born in 1793. She was born on 18 May 1803 at Switzerland. She died on 21 Jan 1859 at Ohio at age 55. She was buried in Jan 1859 at Etna Burial Ground, Etna twp., Licking Co., Ohio. As of 1859, she was also known as Margaret Ault. He died on 30 Apr 1872 at age 35 Reported to have died from small pox a couple of weeks before his daughter Maud was born. He was buried in May 1872 at Etna Burial Ground, Etna twp., Licking Co., Ohio. He lived with Frederick Ault and Anna Maria Ault in 1840 at Etna twp., Licking Co., Ohio. Joseph and Sarah lived on 1 Jun 1870 at Etna twp., Licking Co., Ohio, ; property value $1200; personal property $400. No children listed. Sarah DENT was born on 14 May 1829. She married Nathan Johnson Kinney, son of James Kinney and Mary Milleson, on 12 Oct 1876. She died on 26 Mar 1906 at Infirmary, Licking Co., Ohio, at age 76 paralysis. She was buried in Mar 1906 at Etna Burial Ground, Etna twp., Licking Co., Ohio. Sarah and Nathan first meet on 22 Jun 1858. She lived with Francis Monroeville Krumm and Maude Krumm on 18 Jun 1900 at Etna twp., Licking Co., Ohio. Sarah lived in 1906 at Etna, Licking Co., Ohio. Sarah Dent had an obituary 29 Mar 1906 Pataskala, Licking Co., Ohio, : "LOCAL MENTION: Mrs. Sarah Kenney, a pioneer resident of Etna, aged about 75 years, was buried at Etna on Tuesday".
