Hello. I have been searching a long time to find a connection between the Eagle and Kidd families. My Great great grandfather, Samuel Shaffer of Licking County Ohio, married an Elizabeth Kidd, in Coshoction Co. Ohio, in 1843. Our family always thought her last name was Eagle. On their son's (my great grandfather's, admittance to a hospital) he stated his mother was Elizabeth Eagle, born West Virginia). Does anyone have a connection between these two families.
