The 1840 census images at the Licking County USGENWEB (Thank you for making those available) shows him in Newark Township. By 1850 he is in Granville. My wife, oldest daughter and I are in that area at the end of the month and it would be interesting to drive by the area they settled 150-160 years ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Rod
