She died from pneumonia. I saw the following on the net regarding two cemeteries, but couldn't seem to pull it up. You might email Don Young and ask his advice on finding Alvaretta's grave. Apparently the couthouse burned and without that copy I wouldn't have been able to find it. Have you tried searching Indiana for Daniel Vail?
