Does anyone have any records of interments in cemeteries around Newark? Looking for a death date for James Frederick Satterfield. He was born 1856 WVA; and moved to Newark in 1880's. His wife's name was Sarah. Any assistance, greatly appreciated. Janet Satterfield janets@cais.net
Is this my Elizabeth HANNA? In the 1850 Census, Licking Co. OH, p. 305 Etna twp. , Elizabeth HANNA, age 6 with Robert and Sophia HANNA family. She is listed last after Melissa age 4. No mark under School within year. Have done several searches looking for possible death record of parents, in case this is not child of Robert and Sophia since she is mentioned last, even though older than Melissa. This was the only Elizabeth HANNA/HANNAH to be the right age, b abt 1844, in OH census records for 1850 - My Elizabeth Hannah was b in Apr 1844, according to Wadena Co. MN census for 1900. She was then married to Lew(is) Dean. She had previously been married? to Mr. CONNELLY. Checked all Hannah/Hanna families in census index This Elizabeth is also listed in census index which is unusual as usually only heads of family listed unless person of another surname in househould. Thanks, Audrey andrusae@cougar.netutah.net Researching family names; Andrus/Andros, Berry/Barry, Connelly/Conley, Edwards, Falconer, Fowler & Johnson - Brothertown Indians, Gilkerson, Hall, Hannah/Hanna, Kellogg, Perkins, Nichol(Nichols). ***
I was in error in my request for cemetery listing. It was a listing from Fallsburg area. thank you

One more try -- any one researching these?? Hiram Gilbert was born in Licking County, Ohio (early 1800's) he married a Sarah Smith who was born in New York and moved to Licking County. I haven't been able to find a marriage license but it also had to be in Licking County. They had a son Elias Gilbert (Born 10-15-1827 Licking County, Jersey Township, Ohio. He died 10-20-1906 in Madison County, Grand River, Iowa) he married in about 1853 I believe in Licking Couny but again can't find a marriage license. His spouse was Mary Shambaugh (Born 2-20-1833 Carroll County, Baltimore, Maryland Died 12-227-1901 Madison County, Grand River, Iowa) Mary's parents were James and Sarah Shambaugh. James was in the 1840 Census [State OH County Licking Location St Albans Page 338] Can anyone help with information on these two families? Thanks, Janet Hanson hanson@idir.net

Depending on the year will tell you where to go. Most likely you can get the earlier ones from the probate court house. I know birth certificates for after 1905 are found at the health department. Renee
