    1. Re: Book:
    2. Attention readers, I told you about the book 'Granville' this morning. I have gotten a lot of requests to do look ups, plus several offers to purchase the book. I have written to the first person to email me and gave her the information and she is to get back to me with her answer as to wheather she wants to buy the book. If she does not want it I will write to the second name on the list and so on until it is gone. The price is $30 plus $3 postage. In the meantime I will try to get all the look ups done before I send the book off. Please be patient for there are many to do. I want to thank you all, Mari Davis

    1. Hinckley/Hinkley/Banister
    2. Hi, I am new to this list and hope someone may have a clue for my search and my brick wall. In the 1830 OH Licking Co., St. Albany Township census is Jacob Hincley (Hinckley/Hinkley) b. 1797 as head of household. Searching for his parentage or the parentage of his wife, Eliza S. Banister (Bannister) b. 1806. They were m. in Washington Co., OH in 1824. Listed in this (1830) household is a male aged 90 to 100 years old. I would doubt that this male lived much after this census was taken being b. before 1740. Does anyone have any information on deaths or wills for this time period for a Hinkley or Banister? Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.......................Diane

    1. Miller's of Granville
    2. Sandy
    3. Hello Everyone, I'm looking for information on the family of Rev. James W. Miller (d. 1904) and Lydia Ann (Butler) Miller (d. 1896). Both are buried in Maple Grove Cemetery. They had at least two children, Bertha Helen (Miller) Cosner, and Charles Miller who is beieved to have moved to Spokane Washington. I believe there may have been another brother James and sister Ann (Miller) Kingston. I know that Rev. Miller was in Fredericktown for a short while, and that he was born in Woodville VA. Lydia Ann may have been born in Granville. I also know they lived in Tenn. for a while as that is where Bertha was born. I've written letters to a couple of churches and the Baptist Convention in Tennessee, but have not yet heard back. Does anyone recognize this Miller family? Thanks, Sandy Norton
