    2. CAROLYN J CLARK
    3. Trying to find ancestors for Eli Clark b. 1813. He married Elizabeth Curtis Dunlap. She was born in Harrison Co. OH 1813. They lived in Pike Twp. Coshocton. Co. OH from at least 1850 thru 1870's, then she went to Indiana where her family had gone, and Eli didn't go. He also doesn't show up in Coshocton Co. cemeteries. Maybe he went back to where his family was, but where is that !! If our Eli Clark shows up on your tree, please let me know. Maybe he was one of the Licking County Clark's??? Carolyn Clark

    2. Jim and Judy
    3. I am trying to locate information on my G/G/G grandparents Moses and Susan Showalter. They would have moved from Winchester, VA to Kirkersville, OH around 1844. I know of two children, Susan, who was my G/G grandmother and she had at least one brother Abraham, who, at the turn of the century lived in Cleveland, OH. Susan was born 12/28/1832 in Winchester, VA. She later moved to Clinton Co. to live with "Aunt Betty Myers". She married Isaac Myers (Miars - spelled both ways!) on April 28, 1851 in Wilminton, Clinton Co., OH and they soon moved to Berrien Springs, Michigan. Any information you can provide on the Showalters (or Myers-Miars) would be appreciated. Thanks, Jim

    1. cemetary lookups in Bowling Green Township
    2. The Johnstown Genealogy Society (circa 1900) published 20 volumes covering all readable grave markers in Licking county. Some of these were published in the Old Northwest Genealogical Quarterly ca 1905-1910. Does anyone have access to this info to do a couple of lookups for me? I am searching for William Winn, buried in Bowling green township, sept 1822. In the township, there are 2 cemetaries described that I suspect he might be buried. Hoskinson and Courson, both are off of Shelley Rd, south of Linnville (I have exact locations). Anyone able to help with this? I would be immeasurably appreciative. Thanks Craig Wynn (Baysian5@aol.com)

    3. There is a book "The Staudt-Stoudt-Stout Family of Ohio", Collected and Printed by Herald F. Stout. I do not have the book but I have seen it and it helps in getting to the different lines. My line of STOUT families, came from PalatineGermany,NY, PA,Virginia, now West Virginia, now Lewis Co. on the Hacker's Creek. There is a great place on the web that might help called HCPD, Hacker's Creek Pioneer Decendants. http://www.rootsweb.com/~hcpd/ This will give you a Table of contents, and a lot of places to look. I find Hughes,Sleeth, Stout, Stewart, Evans, Spencer there. Most of these families moved next to OHIO. http://genforum.familytreemaker.com/stout/ Hope this helps you some. L Hite -- MZ

    1. Stouts
    2. Shelley Hoffman
    3. I saw a reference to Stouts buried in Evans Cemetery in Licking County. I hadn't thought to look in Licking for my Stout ancestor, but since I believe she may have been born in Virginia, and later lived in Illinois, she may have also been in Ohio. Her spouse's family was very near Ohio. I only have a name - Elizabeth Stouts, probably born about 1780. Married Phillip C. Buffington (where and when unknown). Her children were born in Illinois. If anyone has information about a Stout-Buffington marriage ca1800, or anything else about this family, I'd appreciate hearing from you. I'll also make another request for infomation about my Lutsenhizer family who lived in Licking County from about 1813 until about 1840.
