Sandi, You might want to contact Ken Tessendorff at: k.tessendorff@worldnet.att.net He is also researching Moses Cummins in Licking Co. I met him via my research for the Cummins in Licking and Coshocton Cos. My Cummins changed the spelling to Cummings sometime around 1850 but some kept the original. I can not show a connection to Moses although there probably is one. We are all one big happy family. You might also consider joining Charlie's Comyns, Cummin(g)s list. I maintain the archives which you might also want to look through. You can also find information there on how to join the list. I highly recommend it as most of the older well known Cummins researchers hang out there. You can find the archives at: http://freepages.misc.rootsweb.com/~mysong/ Good luck with your search Denny Shirer Shirer Family Genealogy Project http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~mysong/ > Subject: [OHLICKIN] Cummins > Date: Mon, 6 Mar 2000 20:56:37 EST > From: SLousid38@cs.com > To: OHLICKIN-L@rootsweb.com > > Would like any information anyone would have on the following Cummins. Thanks for your message. I wish to put out a query to Licking County folks re a family who MAY have lived in Licking County around 1800-1840 The Wagoners. There were brothers, Jacob, William, George and James. I believe Jacob and George worked in the pig iron business there. They left to go to work for Meramec Furnace in Crawford County, Missouri, and show up there in 1830 (census) . George died there very young, and Jacob married and moved up to Wisconsin, Grant County, where he was killed in 1841. William and Sarah (Wife or sister) bought land next to Jacob and George, and left the area. The land was sold in 1840 to the man who had married George's widow. Any clue? Any notions as to how to do this search? Thanks for your interest. Dorothy
I am looking for a mailing address for Greenhill Cemetery near Johnstown. Is there a cemetery office where I can obtain verification of a burial after 1970? Any help appreciated. Wolfdm35@prodigy.net
Does anyone have access to the 1900 Census for Licking County that would do a few look ups for me? Georgia
Do not hold that list to be totally correct. Under the listing of SAMS is the following.. Wiyiarch, d. 1891, 82 yrs. Wiyiarch, d. 1820, 19 yrs Since I did not know about these people, I went to the cemetery and found out that they are listed under the wrong family. Wiyiarch is the last name of this person and he is not a SAMS. I can't find my notes, but I believe the elder man is Basil Wiyiarch. Melanie Upp Kelley

Please Please change my address: Below is the Varner surname request http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Oh/Licking?read=749 I have been trying to have this address changed for a number of months to my present ISP. It needs to be updated under surnames Varner, and I can't even find the Lacey & Simpson Bios, and Lacey Bible records that were there. I have much more info to provide and would be willing to share if I could have these corrections made.If I need to resubmit let me know. Barbara Johnson

Hi, I'm new to this list and I have been trying to find William and Catherine(PECK) TOOKER . They were married Jan. 11 1820 -- I was told they were married in Muskinham Co ,however, I have not been able to find any Tooker Marriages there. Also their first child(Mary) was supposed to have been born there in 1820. Today , someone told me that there were records of a Tooker in Licking Co. Is it possible that the county lines could have moved? Or could there have been a mistake? Is there anyone who could check the Licking Co Records for a William Tooker. Or their marriage in 1820? I believe they did not stay in the county long, and moved to Richland county before 1823 when the next child was born. Thanks in advance for any help . Marilyn Gallaway
