    2. Leah Pendleton Raney
    3. Without knowing the death dates, the relationships you have established already, and the physical location of the graves, this is just a stab in the dark, but I have found many instances in my own ancestry where a child who died was buried in his GRANDPARENT's plot. I have also found a married couple buried in HER family plot. From the information in your paragraph, my instinct suggests that Elizabthe Denman was born a Huffman. I'd be searching any existing marriage, birth or death records to try to confirm that. Also probate records for wills and/or intestate estate records. County histories. Good luck! - Leah in Texas [email protected] wrote: >This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > >Classification: Query > >Message Board URL: > >http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/DZB.2ACI/2388.1 > >Message Board Post: > >I am searching for information on a Huffman and Denman connection. Both families lived in Licking Co mid 1800's. Some stayed and others moved on to Owen Co IN and Wisconsin. Prudence Denman m. William Huffman in Tuscarwas Co prior to living in Licking. Prudence d. in WI. I have a 1929 Huffman reunion sign in list that has Denmans. There was an old Doc Denman who was a vet and his son Phil owned a dairy in Newark. Both families seem to be from PA in the early days but a location has yet to be found. There is a John and Elizabeth Denman in Owen Co in 1870. That Elizabeth is buried in the same rural cemetery as one of my documented Huffmans. Also in that cem is a Thadeus Denman age 16. Prudence Denman Huffman named one of her sons Thadeus. One of my Huffmans is in Owen Co in 1870 but in central Ohio in 1860 and 1880. There is some connection, I just haven't figured out what. > > >==== OHLICKIN Mailing List ==== >visit: LICKING COUNTY GENEALOGY at: >http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohlickin/ > >============================== >Search Family and Local Histories for stories about your family and the >areas they lived. 1. Ryall Family
    2. I am hoping someone will have information on the following family. Possibly, some of their children were married in this county. The family of Thomas and Hope were listed in the 1850 census living in Brownsville and 1870 census living in Bowling Green Township, Newark Post Office. RYALL, Thomas, born about 1817 in New Jersey. In 1850, his occupation was that of a moulder. RYALL, Hope, born about 1823 in New Jersey Children from this marriage: Martha (Mattie), born about 1844 in New Jersey George W., born about 1849 in Ohio Joseph, also known as Daniel, born about 1850 in Ohio Eliza (or Lydia) born about 1853 in Ohio Thomas, born about 1855 in Ohio James, born about 1859 in Ohio Ellen, born about 1866 in Ohio Martha (Mattie) had a son living with this family in 1870. His name was Madison DAVIS, born about 1866. I do not know the name of Martha's husband. Hope was listed as a widow in the 1890 Special Schedule living in New Madrid County, Missouri (presumably staying with her son, George W. RYALL). She listed her address as Lafayette, Madison County, Ohio. I thank you for any help you can provide. Pat [email protected]
