Perhaps not everyone has yet read their emails or perhaps no one knows the answers to these questions, but thought I'd again ask a couple questions I posted a couple days ago. On the 1910 Census for LawCo Rome Twp, I find ancestors living on "River Road". Is this the same as Rt. 7? If not, where would the location be or have been for "River Road"? I've also come across some info that there are ancestors buried in Gilett(e) Cemetery. I found it listed in the new LawCo Hist. book but can't seem to find the exact location. Does anyone know specifically where this cemetery is? Appreciate any assistance. Regards, Nancy Edwards
Hey Nancy, Just so that you know, I went to the Lawrence County website and looked at the cemetery listings. Gillett Cemetery is not listed with directions on the website (most cemeteries are listed there). I thought that it would eliminate one place to look.
