I ask because the descendant of Samuel Lewis Sr. & Mary ________. that has participated in the LEWIS Surname DNA project at http://www.lewissurnamednaproject.com/ descends from Wilson Lewis & Sarah Elizabeth Burcham and although there is substantial conjecture that he is the son of John "The Baptist" Lewis he has yet to be a proven son via documentation...
