Ok folks - I tried and tried before posting, but I cannot find Julia (Blake) Eaton on the 1920 Census. She died 1927 per the date on her tombstone and per her obit, a copy of which I received today. She may be listed as Julia B. Eaton, Julia A. (Blake) Eaton or Mrs. John P. Eaton. She was b circa 1826 Gallia Co, OH and d Sept 19, 1927 "at her home above Proctorville". She and her husband, John P. Eaton, lived in Rome Twp from the time they married insofar as I can determine. Her husband d 1886. I've checked Ancestry, Heritage Quest and the Census on the Lawco website. I've checked the households of her children. I've tried variant spellings of the surname, first name only, surname only - everything I can think of but without success. I wonder if she's in a hospital somewhere, but my experience has been that this did not preclude the person being included on the Census. Of course, anything is possible. If someone else can find her in 1920 or has suggestions for what else I might try, I'd sure appreciate the help. Regards, Nancy Edwards - Georgia -
