WV, b. 1874, d. 1946, buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Zanesville, Muskingum Co. OH. My grandmother is buried in the same Cemetery with her father's family. She is Bessie Alton-Cooper, b. Coal Twp, Glen Roy, Jackson Co. OH, 24 Nov 1905 and d. 27 Oct 1927, Zanesville, Muskingum Co. OH I wish I knew where my Cooper's were from before Ohio. One census states that John Frederick Cooper's father was from RI, but nothing more. The clue and trail stops there. Do you have a Cooper connection?
