Jean Haskellsville was located in Rome Twp I believe west of where Athalia Ohio is located.
Hi Carl! Thanks for that information. Is it in the same spot of a current-day community (so that I have a chance of finding that on the map)? I wanted to ask you something else. I came across the following excerpt out of the 1990 Lawrence County History book. From "John and Ada Murdock," written by Mary Murdock Zimmerman, History of Lawrence County, Ohio, published by the Lawrence County History Book Committee in conjunction with the Lawrence County Genealogical Society in 1990: ".She (Adella Brammer) worked in the home of Miss Della Cox and her sister, Miss Ethel Cox, who collaborated with their brothers, U. T. and N. C. Cox in trying new methods of farming, marketing, and preserving of fruits and vegetables." Do you know Mary Murdock Zimmerman? I am trying to put together a biography for Nelson Cox, and found this. Nelson is the father of U.T., "N.C." (should be Elton Grant Cox, E.G. Cox), Ethel, and Della Cox. I just wondered if there was more information about the Cox family floating around with the Murdocks or Brammers somewhere. - Jean -----Original Message----- From: carl murdock [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, May 29, 2005 6:41 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [OHLAWREN] Haskellsville Jean Haskellsville was located in Rome Twp I believe west of where Athalia Ohio is located. ==== OHLAWREN Mailing List ==== To be removed from this list send the word "unsubscribe", as both subject and in body of message, to the list format your receive: [email protected] or [email protected] ============================== Find your ancestors in the Birth, Marriage and Death Records.
