BILLETT Marion-Cora Billett 90, 255 Richland Road, passed away at 7:40 a.m. Monday, May 24, 2004 at Marion General Hospital Born April 26, 1914, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of the late William and Ella (Simpkins) Cook. On April 16, 1932, in Marion, she married Paul Edward Billett; he died May 28, 1998, in Marion. A homemaker, she was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Darlene (Bud) Metz, Marion, Deloris (Robert) Williams of Millsboro, Del, Janet Ralston, Lewisville, Texas; 10 grandchildren, five step grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother and six sisters. The funeral is 10 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2004, at Boyd Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Middleton officiating. Burial is in Grand Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
