    3. Jean, I am reading every one of the obits that you are putting on the list. I haven't found any pertaining to my families yet but that may happen soon. I have a few obits that I have cut from the Marion Star in Marion, Ohio regarding people who had roots in Lawrence County. Do you mind if I jump in here and add them to what you are doing? He arose quite early and built a fire, but not feeling well went to bed again. His wife prepared breakfast and when she attempted to arouse him she found him speechless and apparently dead. A physician was at once called who, on examination, found that life was extinct, although the body was still warm. Deceased was 32 years old, and had been married but a few months. He belonged to an Order of the Druids, No. 28, of this city, and was buried with the usual imposing ceremonies of that order. It is to be regretted, however, that by some neglect, or oversight, no grave had been prepared when the procession arrived at the cemetery, and some two or three hours delay was caused. 3. Hi Janice, I would surely welcome any and all articles about Lawrence countians. I was digging through some old Ironton newspapers and came across these articles. I figure that they might help someone along the way. They are also preserved in the archives for someone to access later. I look forward to your articles and any from others as well. Thanks! - Jean -----Original Message----- From: Janice Mitchell [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, September 30, 2005 6:57 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [OHLAWREN] Obits Jean, I am reading every one of the obits that you are putting on the list.
