I have a pair of ancestors Arminta and Henry, who were married in 1871. They only appeared together in the 1880 census. They had one child after 1880, and then sometime before 1890 she moved back in with her parents. Armintas dad signed for her oldest daughters marriage in Aug 1890, with the written permission of the Arminta. She was still with her parents in 1900 in Lincoln Co, WV, and with her daughter and son-in-law in 1910 and 1920, still listed as married. Henry died in 1928, and was listed as married. I have no idea what happened, but the surely weren't in the same place in census years after 1880. Don Clark ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
