Lorna!!! How are you? I haven't been working too hard on my own lines, as I've been drawn into a genealogical project for Pueblo County, Colorado. Someone contacted me and had a little new information. Wow, that's awesome about this info on the Singers. I don't think that they show up in my Cemetery books, so perhaps this is new info, or perhaps I overlooked Singer Cemetery. I never could figure out what happened to these two. They were featured in Hardesty's in one of the bios, but after the 1880 census, I could never find them again. Thanks for looking them up and finding them! I found a descendant of theirs, and she and her whole family are thrilled to be a part of the Gillett family of Lawrence County. I guess us Gilletts are "famous." Irena was the youngest daughter of Joel Gillet. He died when she was five months old.
