Father soldier in War of 1861, now at Dayton, receiving pension. Mother born in Wayne Co., Ky. now living in Old Maidsville. She is a woman of weak mind and bad habits. Fannie had measles June 1904. Had typhoid and pneumonia April of 1906. Placed with aunt, Mrs. ARTHURS of Coryville 19 Aug.1910. Father born at Molten, Lawrence Co. Oh.in 1880, is a man of excellent character.Mother born at Olive Furnace 15 April 1880, died of nervous prostration early in 1908. Children went from home to home begging for something to eat. Mother remarried a man named WILKES in Ky., does not know when or where. Later kept house for HENRY HOLLIDAY near Coal Grove. When HOLLIDAY married another woman, the housekeeper destroyed the fruit and set fire to the house and was sent to Marysville for this act. Bonnie was then placed with Mr. K. PEYTON of Aid, Ohio, and was later returned to the Home in Dec. 1923. Birdie, Mary, and Sophia, sisters of Bonnie. Chas. WILKES, 1/2 brother. Bonnie was placed with her sister, Mrs. Emma SMITH in 1925 and began work at a laundry, then at a candy shop. Returned to the Home 18 Sept. 1926.
