This is really helpful. I descend from Joel and Chloa (Griswold) Gillett and am trying to confirm or refute James O. Gillett descends from Joel also as some Gillett/Gillette researchers are indicating. This helps to refute that. I agree with you that Horatio "Nelson" and Horatio "Nathaniel" are one and the same - until someone shows me evidence to the contrary - and that he is the nephew of Joel Gillett, not his son.
