I'm new to the list but have been researching my Lawrence county ancestors for over 30 years.  I'm a descendant of ALLEN CORLEY / CAULLEY  (b ca 1786 - d ca 1869) and his wife , MARY SINER, who settled in Lawrence Co ca 1829 in Symmes Township.  One of his sons, ABEL COLLEY switched to using the name Colley before settling in Scioto Co.  His son and my ancestor, JOHN CAULLEY (b ca 1815 in VA - d 1876 in MO) married ELIZA CLARKSON (b ca 1819 - d ca 1891 in MO) on January 17, 1838 in Lawrence Co. OH.  She was the daughter of SAMUEL CLARKSON (b ca 1777 in PA - d ca 1860 in Lawrence Co). I'm always looking for additional information and fun stories about the family.  I'll gladly share what I have with interrested family member.
