Son 52 Single/Cattle Dealer ELIZABETH dau 45 FRANK son 41 Other informtion: There is a death recorded for a FRANCISKA STEENBACKER (sp) on 7-6-1933. I did not locate her in the Death Certificate index, but perhaps there might be an obiutuary for her. You will need to contact the library via their web page or the Lawrence Co Web Site FRANK STEINBACKER died on 8-28-1932. There is a death certificate for him in the index No. 65820 That number is difficult to read in the index.It could be 68820???? Also the library has microfilm copies of Naturalizations Records. In the 1903-1906 Index is a JOSEPH listed on page 37 and 259 and one also for KARL on page 396. The library should be able to assist you on these copies. Also I came across a marriage for an ELIZABETH STEINBECKER to a WILLIAM STEINBECKER in Book 41 page 600. This should give the parents of both parties. The ship ODER was of the Shipping Line North German Lloyd which was in service from 1873 - 1887. It was built b y Cairo and Compnany, Scotland. Tonnage: 3,265 tons. 351' by 19'.Single Crew. 4 1/2 Knots; Compound Engine, Two masts and one funnel. Iron Hull. Passenger 90 on lst trip, 125 on 2nd trip and 680 on 3rd trip. Maiden Voyagr from Bremen,Germany to Southampton England on May 23, 1874. Transferred to the Far East Route in 1886. Wrecked at Socotila on 5-30-1887. Sister Ships: Mosel and Neckar.
