If I could find a marriage record of William Lunsford and Martha Day, when they were married would answer all the questions......but no susch luck. I have been searching for that for about 6-8 years now. Hopefully I may find it on my next research trip to Huntington. I plan on spending a lot of time in Lawrence County OH and in KY on this trip. I need documents from both areas. WHatever I find, if anything I will share with everyone as I have the information regardng the parentage statements by both William and Andrew Lunsford regarding the names of their father and mother in the Wayne County, WV marriage records. I just wish one of them would have spelled out their mother's name. I am currently cleaning out old files on m PC to free us space and so in the next few days I will look into the 1850 census records to see if I can locate William Jr and his brother, Andrew Lunsford. At this point I am also unaware of any other siblings they may have had....I want to solve the mystery of their parentage before I accept additional children into thier family.
