The only Lucinda Lunsford that I found was born 1858 and died 1926. She was married to Rueben Lunsford. Her maiden name was Haskins. I obtained this information from the following site: http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch In 1900 census it shows William and Martha(Morris) as having been married 44 years and having 15 children, 10 still living. The only William Lunsford that I can find born in 1816 I cannot find that he had a son named William. His wife is listed as Nancy (Massie). In 1850 when William (Jr) should have still been at home he isn't listed with this family. I tried to check to see if he might be living close by but couldn't locate him under William. William born 1816 is shown in 1860 census as follows: (living in Aid township, Lawrence County, OHIO) William 44, Nancy 43, John 23, Pleasant 21, Levi 19, Samantha 17, Lewis F (listed as Franklin in 1850 census)15, Ellen 13, Basil 10, Martha8, Jackson 6, Mary Susan 4 and Rachel 1. In 1860 census William (Jr) and Martha are living in Burlington, Fayette Township, Lawrence County, Ohio. William 26, Martha 19, Gordon 3 (1880 census has him living in Cabell County WV),Percival 2 and Sarah 2 months. Could not find this family again until 1900 census William Lunsford (born Nov. 1833 OH) 66, Martha (born Nov.1840 WV) Nora (Jan. 1884)16 (daughter) and grandchild Minnie Tonne (born Aug 1887) 12. Now it shows that Minnie was born in Arkansas as was her father but her mother was born in Ohio. Could the family have lived in Arkansas and then returned to OH?? Hope this is of some help to you.
