Would you mind checking your "Symmes Creek" Book and see if you have any information on the following persons. In Lawrence Co, for a William Lunsford, born abt 1800/1815 he may have been born in OH, VA, or KY, I have no other info for him other than he may have been married to a Lucinda and possibly a 2nd time to a Martha Day. He had 2 sons (by Lucinda) William 1833 OH - 1915 OH and Andrew 1835 OH- 1899 OH) All of the above lived in Lawrence Co, OH during the 1830s through the early 1900s. THe other person if you do not mind checking for would be a Moman/Monan/Moran/Morman family in Gallipolis, Gallia county in the end of the 1700s and the beginning of the 1800s. THey had a daughter JUDAH that married Charles Payton/Peyton of WV in 1818 there in Gallia Co, OH. Charles Peyton was originally from Amherst Co, VA and there were families also in Amherst by the name of Morman & Moran. The marriage license I have for Juda and Charles is so poorly written that you can not read her last name & the chance that it was misspelled anyway is very high as Charles' surname was spelled as Patton instead of Payton/Peyton. I have been unable to ascertain if any of the families in Gallia county had a daughter Judah as she was married BEFORE 1850 when the census records finally began listing the members of the families. ANY info you may find would be helpful, even if it is negative as at least that would lead me AWAY from an incorrect family connection. I know this is a lot to ask as I do lookups for references in Amherst County Books, so I REALLY do appreciate your time and efforts on my behalf.
